If I had a year to live
I would go to the following places:
Brazil-to go hang gliding over Rio de Janeiro and enjoy the sights, sounds, and tastes of the city
Israel/Turkey- to visit the Holy Land/Istanbul for all of their glory
Portugal (Azores), Ireland, Lithuania, Schleswig-Holstein-to visit my ancestral lands
Netherlands/Belgium/Luxembourg-finish off the main countries of Western Europe AND do all the wonderful...

The title for a brochure advertising the wonderful tourist sites of Fairfax County.
Most of the attractions there are either malls, George Washington related sites, or Civil War related sites.
The brochure taught me something which I failed to learn after living there for 7 years: there is still so much more I have yet to see and that living there is not always boring.

Third culture kid
I finally have a term for my lack of a single hometown. Being born in England and living in Guam for two years, I am considered a third culture kid because I grew up and was exposed to other cultures throughout my life.
And boy am I proud to be a TCK!

German Haus Brunch
Today I went to a brunch for future residents of the German house. The food was typical but good (bagels, cheese, danishes, orange juice, etc) and I got to hang out with my future roommate, quite the socializer.

I need to see this movie. If the movie’s even half as good as the soundtrack is, it’ll be great.
But yeah, 600th post. I’m gonna try that 30 day post thing, keep me from spending so much time on tumblr, and it’ll mean I actually have to post and think about stuff. So starting tomorrow, I’m going one post a day for the next 30 days.

high schoolers who were more interested in how to get into UVA than learning about Honduras
my former AM CIV English teacher and two classmates from my class in the room, one of which is not the best student and who I found out has the same GPA as me
a group of “bros” who did not have much to say to me but whatever

I have not been on the internet for 2 days
but boy did I ever live my life to the fullest.
Cape Fear
right now I am staying with relatives near Cape Fear, North Carolina and have a great view of the ocean. However all I could think about coming in was the 1991 film starring de Niro or the Simpsons episode parodying the movie.
